Two quotes that support that life is idyllic for Huck and Jim is “live pretty high,” which means they steal, buy and hunting for food as they wish and the second quote is “adventure,” the way Tom Sawyer would" this implies that life on the raft is adventurous especially when they encounter the boat robbers.
"I was powerful glad to get away from the feuds, and so was Jim to get away from all. Other places do seem so cramped up and smothery, but a raft don't. You feel mighty free and easy and comfortable on a raft."
"Two or three days and nights went by; I reckon I might say they swum by, they slid along so quiet and smooth and lovely."
These two quotes show how much Huck and Jim loved living on the raft. They are running away from their lives back on the mainland. Jim from slavery, and Huck from his father. Every time they go to land they are forced to live a lie to hide their true identities. Being on the raft allows them to be completely free and honost with each other.
"It's lovely to live on a raft. We had the sky, up there, all speckled with stars, and we used to lay on our backs and look at them, and discuss about whether they was made, or only just happened..."
"...for what you want, above all things, on a raft, is for everybody to be satisfied, and feel right and kind towards the others."
The first statement plainly shows how much how the relish life on the raft. In the second statement Huck is working to ensure compatability amongst those on the raft. When 2 men claiming to be long-lost men of royal blood are on the same raft and are trying to get the attention of Huck and Jim, jealousy begins to creep in, so the "king" says that it's not their fault they weren't born as the other so they should just be friends. This kept everyone on the raft happy, which as Huck said, is a very essential to life on a raft.
"We catched fish and talked, and we took a swim now and then to keep off sleepiness. It was kind of solemn, drifting down the big, still river, laying on our backs looking up at the stars, and we didn't ever feel like talking loud, and it warn't often that we laughed—only a little kind of a low chuckle. We had mighty good weather as a general thing, and nothing ever happened to us at all—that night, nor the next, nor the next."

Sorry Daphne I know I used one of the quotes you used but I think these go good together. They both express that the raft is like a vacation for them. They both say how Huck and Jim are relaxed and it also shows them coming together. The raft brought Huck and Jim together, it allows them to discus topics and be open with each other without people invading or making things difficult. The raft is a "safe place" that they both needed.
